Welcome to the new home of the New Matrixism!

Matrixism, also referred to as "The path of the One," was primarily introduced in 2004.  A website on Yahoo Geocities created by an anonymous source provided the basis for our  belief.  Matrixism is inspired by the Matrix trilogy and its associated stories (including the Animatrix).  However, these stories are not the sole foundation.  The ideals of Matrixism can be traced back to the early 1900s to "The Promulgation of Universal Peace" by Abdu'l-Baha.

In this website you will find information on Matrixism, our beliefs and tenets, rules that we follow, causes we support, religious holidays, and resources and readings that for them basis of our religion.  We will also have forums, blogs, and other features to allow you to interact with and meet Matrixists.  This is intended to be a community site for all Matrixists and we welcome you to our community.

The end WAS nigh... False Christian Prohpets

The following is from the USA Today regarding the false prophecy of the Christian apocolypse and how some believers put their life at stake.  I haven't seen much/any activity in the forum about this prophecy, was it ever beleivable (I doubt it), why people beleived in it anyways, or whether it will ever happen.  Anyone want to chime in with their thoughts? Multiverse theories and debates in science

Those of you who peruse Slashdot would have seen this post today:

"Scientific American is running a piece by science journalist John Horgan attacking pop physicist Brian Greene's latest offering, titled The Hidden Reality. He's not entirely alone; Not Even Wrong backs him up and reminds us of a growing list of multiverse propaganda. The journal Nature ran a short piece trying to remind everyone that Greene's book is more theory than fact, but apart from those three responses, the popular press seems to be gobbling up this tantalizing concept of a multiverse. NPR offers an excerpt while SFGate and The Wall Street Journal entertain us with interviews of the controversial Greene. The New York Times and Salon seem to think it's worthwhile, with Salon even calling it 'the science behind' the multiverse theory. The New York Times thought it worthwhile to give Greene an op-ed column. For better or for worse, Greene has certainly brought this great debate to the public's attention — similar to his exhibition of String Theory."

God and Country

I am unsure how to approach what I thought was going to be my initial topic without sound too shallow.  Therefore, I am unsure of exactly what to say.  I'll try to say something though.  I currently live in the US (though that may not be the case in the future).  I often find myself fascinated with the claim that there exists a separation of church and state in this country and how that actually plays out, or actually, it doesn't.   Read more »

Update on NewMatrixism.com

Hello all!  For those of you who have been around a while, the silence from my part isn't terribly surprising.  This website doesn't make (any) money to support me and therefore, I have to take care of my business to keep it running.  As a result, there are certain periods of time that I can't spend a lot reading, researching and writing posts for this place.  I apologize for that.  But hey!  At least the site didn't get spammed all to hell this time. Just when you thought it was safe to surf the Internet....

I sometimes wonder how much society will put up with governments spying on and interference with law abiding citizens lives.  Americans have the NSA quietly (or not so quietly in the end) working with telephone and cell phone company to track phone calls.   Australia and China seem to be doing a bang up job censoring the Internet.  Folks in England have been putting up with their every move being recorded by closed-circuit cameras.  Now they will potentially have every piece of information they send and receive on the Internet being recorded for at least a year.   Read more »
