This membership form is no longer active. It was in use from 2004 to 2008 during which time over 2000 people registered their email addresses to be counted as Pathists. Having proved a significant following by this means it is no longer necessary or desirable to keep track of Matrixism‘s fold. From its inception The path of the One was intended to be a highly decentralized movement.
So, what must one now do in order to become a Pathist?
At a minimum one must do the following:
1.) View The Matrix.
2.) Read the Matrixism website.
3.) Commit at least one act of hacking.
Again these are only the minimum requirements. To deepen one’s understanding of Matrixism one should:
4.) Read, or watch, the books, and movies, contained in The Matrixism Bookstore*.
5.) Partake of Matrixism’s sacrament.
Finally being active and expressing oneself as a Pathist can be done by:
6.) Observing Matrixism’s holidays.
7.) Taking part in Critical Mass bike rides.
8.) Supporting the National Association to Protect Children.
9.) Engaging in mushroom cultivation and mycology**.
*In order to maintain a completely decentralized structure nothing is actually sold in the Matrixism Bookstore. All the titles therein can be purchased at almost any commercial bookstore.
